Course objectives:

During this workshop, participants focus on internal and external factors affecting the creation of effective business development goals. Factors discussed include:

• current state of the insurance marketplace;

• competitive pressures;

• insurance carrier underwriting criteria; and

• consumer expectations.

Throughout each section of the workshop material, tips for preventing Errors & Omissions are highlighted and discussed.

Implement for Success (CPIA 2) - 

Course objectives:

During this workshop, participants learn:

 • specific tools for analyzing consumer needs;

• how to utilize risk identification techniques to gather pertinent prospect information;

• skills necessary to assimilate information gathered into customized coverage recommendations;

• how to prepare a complete submission; and

• tips for preparing and presenting a comprehensive insurance proposal.

Throughout each section of the workshop material, tips for preventing Errors & Omissions are highlighted and discussed.

• March 16, 2021
• June 15, 2021
• September 21, 2021
• November 16, 2021

Sustain Success (CPIA 3) - 

Course objectives:

This workshop focuses on fulfilling the implied promises contained in the insuring agreement. Participants will:

• review methods of providing evidence of insurance coverage;

• discuss policies and procedures for controlling errors and omissions including policy review and delivery, endorsements, claims-processing, and handling of client complaints; and

• learn how to calculate the lifetime value of a client and techniques for generating referrals.

This course includes a review of Professional Expectations, the Law of Agency, and Legal and Ethical Standards. Throughout each section of the workshop material, tips for preventing Errors & Omissions are highlighted and discussed.

• March 23, 2021
• June 22, 2021
• September 28, 2021
• November 30, 2021

*All of the above AIMS Society webinars will be held from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (central time) with a 10-minute break every hour and a 1-hour break for lunch. To receive credit for the course, participation for the entire seminar is required. Polls and questions will be asked throughout the webinar to confirm participation. CE credits will be filed by AIMS Society after completion of each course.
